10.1 SOE SOAP parameter classes (vb.net)

Hi,

For creating soe with custom parameter classes or arrays of parameter classes...in 10.1 do I need to manually create the XML Class Registry file? or does that automatically happen when I deploy the .soe file on the map service? If I don't do it manual where does that get stored?
