Faulting Module: hd425m.dll

Recently had one of our applications crash and the Event Log showed that the faulting Module was

Faulting module path: C:\PROGRAM FILES\ARCGIS\ENGINE10.0\BIN\hd425m.dll

Just curious as to what the general function of hd425m.dll is.
