Spatial query on 3d datasets.

Hi All,

Does spatial query in ArcGIS ignore the 3rd dimension (z value) or not? For example, if I specify "SatialRel" of the Spatial Filter as
esriSpatialRelEnum.esriSpatialRelIntersects, only intersected (in 3D) features are returned, right?
