creating feature layer with xy coordinates in arcobject sdk10.1

I have a array of xy coordinates representing latitude and longitude. I have used Make XY Event Layer function in python and it worked fine. However as a need of another project i want to do same in c# using arcobject sdk 10.1. Any advice or link how to do this.
