Create a Service Definition File using VB.NET

Hi all,

I have been having some issues trying to understand how best to create a service definition file (SD) using VB.NET.
I can do this manually, however would like to have the SD updated daily and published to an ArcGIS Online map.

Could someone please point me to some relevant information?
